Privacy Policy
for the Thinkly Chrome extension, web app, and related services
This Privacy Policy explains how Thinkly, operated by PlugLab, collects, uses, stores, and protects information across our website, product, browser extension, waitlist, and related services. Thinkly is built to help users save selected content from AI chats and webpages, then organize that saved material for later reuse.
Single Purpose
Thinkly has one narrow purpose: helping users capture user-selected content from AI conversations and webpages, then organize what they saved for later use. The extension is not designed for advertising, unrelated tracking, data brokerage, or background browsing surveillance.
Data Collection
What We Collect

- Account and profile information Your name, email address, sign-in provider details, and basic account settings when you create or use a Thinkly account.
- Authentication and product data Authentication state, sync status, export actions, feature usage, run history, waitlist submissions, and basic device or browser information needed to secure, operate, and improve the service.

- Keystroke logs, mouse tracking, or unrelated page activity
- Your passwords or full credentials for third-party services
- Payment card numbers on our servers
- Your private Google Drive, Gmail, or unrelated third-party account content

Data Storage
Local-Only Mode (Default)
- Saved extension data can remain locally in Chrome's storage when you use Thinkly without cloud sync.
- Local-only usage does not require an account.
- You control deletion by removing items or uninstalling the extension.
Cloud Sync Mode (Optional)
- Cloud features require an account and store your saved content in our hosted database.
- Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
- We retain operational logs and backups only as reasonably necessary for security, reliability, and recovery.
- You can request deletion of your account data by contacting support.

- Authenticate accounts, manage subscriptions, and respond to support requests

Third-Party Services
Google OAuth
- Used for authentication when you sign in with Google.
- We request only the basic identity data needed to create and secure your Thinkly account.
- We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or other unrelated Google data unless a separate feature clearly asks for it.
Remote Code
Thinkly does not load or execute remote JavaScript or Wasm inside the extension. All executable extension code is packaged with the extension. Thinkly may communicate with its own web service for optional sign-in, sync, export, and product features, but it does not fetch and run remote code.
